Microbe Madness is a top-down action game where you play as a sludge-eating microbe, working to clean up a neglected wastewater treatment plant.

Devour clouds of waste and use your electrogenic powers to create powerful abilities to use against the ravenous bacteria spawning out of the Hives and animate sludge that fester throughout the plant.

Meet the Team

Gratis Maxwell

I came up with the original concept, inspired by my relative's job at a microbial fuel cell company. This crazy, microscopic world of poop-eating organisms that can produce electricity through respiration seemed like the perfect material for an interesting game. Our team's decisions were motivated by the goal of creating an action-packed experience with mechanics inspired by these biological processes, and the end result is something we're quite proud of.

Rishabh Chopra

I'm an instructional designer who loves to learn new things and explain them well. Everything from the sound, to the animation, to the actual game code was made by us. I hope you have fun destroying those hives!
